2021 Virtual Lecture Series

LTRM’s first virtual lecture series will take place over Zoom and will cover Governance, Enterprise Risk, Privacy, COVID-19, Cyber Risk, and Technological Trends. The panelists are composed of experts in the fields of risk and security, and come from both the private and public sectors. Panelists will discuss both the old and the new, touching on recent events impacting the security of businesses, as well as summarizing must-know information for executives.  

The 2021 Virtual Lecture Series will be organized as a 6-part series starting in May and ending in October, with one lecture per month.

This panel will discuss the ”new paradigm” of Legal Governance, Risk Management, & Compliance (LGRC). The legal department’s effect and overlap on governance require businesses to adopt GRC. Organizations must expand their current GRC plan to achieve the legal department’s objectives while aligning the company’s business objectives. The panel will discuss the various strategies business leaders can implement, including new business objectives and technology architecture to help achieve these goals.
